Noodle selection
.noodle selects native Mania charts dominated by hold notes, with meaningful held time and relatively few tap objects. It is a narrower composition choice than LN, which can include mixed tap/hold charts.

Usage
.noodle .noodles .style noodle .style noodle technical .variety
Noodle can combine with existing patterns. Rice and Noodle cannot be selected together; an invalid request keeps the previous preference. Use .variety to return to the broader pool.
Strict and bounded matches
Strict Noodle requires at least 65% hold objects and 10% normalized held-time coverage. When strict fresh choices run out, bounded fallback still requires at least 50% hold objects and 6% held-time coverage. Missing or invalid evidence is rejected. These are heuristic composition limits, not a guarantee about a chart's subjective difficulty or PP return.
Small pools and fallback
Strict fresh choices come first, followed by weaker qualifying hold charts. From v6.7.7, once no fresh strict or relaxed Noodle choices remain, native Stream maps are the explicit fallback. Stream must satisfy the existing sustained-Stream classification; arbitrary Variety charts are not admitted. This also applies to Noodle combinations. Other requested patterns remain preferred where available.
The bot avoids the last ten played or skipped rounds and maps already current/queued when possible. From v6.7.7, an oldest available repeat is used only when both eligible Noodle and Stream pools are out of fresh choices. The October 3 release analysis at a 3.0–4.0-star, 45–150-second 7K baseline found two strict / eight including relaxed Noodle maps plus 98 native Stream fallback maps. These Stream maps are fallback capacity, not Noodle classifications. See the dated availability analysis.
Difficulty, length, pass count, age and native key mode remain unchanged. Converts are not Noodle fallback. If a new Noodle request has no eligible Noodle or Stream maps, it is rejected and the previous preference is kept. Later exhaustion does not automatically restore an earlier preference. The selected preference remains Noodle and automatically regains priority when fresh choices are available. Fallback remains quiet in chat; .pool can show (relaxed) or (stream fallback). Visible queue entries remain unchanged.
Stream fallback requires v6.7.7 or later. The LN/Noodle weighting reduction in v6.7.12 applies only to ordinary Variety, not this explicit Noodle preference.

- Timing and limits
- From v6.7.15, strict fresh Noodle then bounded relaxed Noodle precede classified native LN fallback, replacing the v6.7.7 Stream fallback. Last ten played/skipped rounds and current/queued maps are avoided when possible. Oldest eligible Noodle/LN repeats only after both fresh pools run out. All hard room filters stay unchanged; preference remains Noodle and visible queue is preserved. If neither pool exists, previous selection is kept.
