Room 3: Mania 7K

This room plays osu!mania 7K. It uses a fixed difficulty range, with .harder and .easier voting for future picks.

Use .style to inspect the chart and available choices. Choose Jack, Chordjack, Stream, LN, Technical, Rice, Noodle, Farm, or Variety using .style jack or a direct command such as .jack. Use .variety to return to the full eligible pool.

Farm is experimental and depends on staff enablement and research evidence. Structural styles are heuristic descriptions, not guarantees of PP efficiency. Style selection keeps native key counts separate. Vetted converts can appear in Variety; style-only and farm-only pools currently use native charts.

.map shows map details and a link. See why a style may broaden and vetted converts.

Tap/hold choices and Variety

.rice prefers taps with few holds and streams; tap chords are allowed. .noodle / .noodles requires hold-dominant composition and is narrower than .ln. Both work in combinations such as .style rice jack, but Rice and Noodle cannot be combined. After fresh strict and relaxed Noodle choices run out, native LN is its explicit fallback before recent repeats; Rice stays within its bounded tap-focused limits.

From v6.7.12, ordinary Variety gives LN- or Noodle-classified charts 0.1× their prior relative weight. This is not a fixed 10% share and does not change explicit LN/Noodle/Farm or combined-style selection. Charts already queued remain in place.

Current operator-preferred length is 90–135 played seconds, with shorter maps and occasional longer maps up to the 240-second hard cap. .pool shows active settings. .time checks remaining time; .lang selects personal bilingual guidance while English stays visible. Mixed .dt / .nm is Standard-only and does not change Mania speed. See selection rules and release versions.

Successful-clear preference (v6.7.17+)

Eligible maps gain a gradual 1.0–1.5× draw-weight boost using global osu! pass counts, not local lobby clears. Feedback, Farm bonuses and the Variety-only LN penalty still stack with it. Native keys, repeat safeguards and highest-score-first Farm/style priorities remain intact. Formula and examples. Native LN is Noodle's fallback from v6.7.15.

Starting with AFK players

From v6.7.18, rooms with at least two gameplay players can start with one ready player. Automatic starts and .start leave unready/AFK players out; if nobody is ready, the room waits. Spectators and referees do not count toward this two-player rule.

Newly unready players share one extra five seconds once per stay, then later maps proceed without extra grace for them. See the readiness guide and check the room version during rollout.

Current values are operator settings, not immutable release defaults. Standard Jump retains its under-90-second preference from v6.7.20. See duration policy and deployment protection.
