Map feedback
After a completed map, use .good / .g, .bad / .b, or .ok / .meh / .mid / .neutral. Your response belongs to the last completed map, even if the lobby has already moved on to the next one.

Try your own vote mix
Enter good and bad totals in the interactive calculator below. It shows the exact relative weight and an illustration with your map plus 19 otherwise identical, unrated, eligible maps. Nothing is sent to the bot or saved.
The calculator needs JavaScript. The table and formula below remain available without it.
How feedback changes future picks
When that map is eligible for a future slot, the bot gives it a relative selection weight. An unrated map starts at 1.00×. More weight makes it more likely to win a pick among the maps currently eligible; less weight makes it less likely. Feedback does not force a map into the pool or change a map already queued.
Each accepted .good adds 0.25× to the good factor, up to 2.50×. The first accepted .bad applies 0.85×; each additional bad vote multiplies that bad factor by 0.35. Good and bad factors multiply together. The final weight never falls below 0.03×, so a disliked eligible map is still possible.
| Accepted good | Accepted bad | Relative weight | Compared with an unrated map |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 0 | 1.000× | Same starting weight |
| 1 | 0 | 1.250× | 25% higher |
| 3 | 0 | 1.750× | 75% higher |
| 6 or more | 0 | 2.500× | 150% higher; good boost capped |
| 0 | 1 | 0.850× | 15% lower |
| 0 | 2 | 0.298× | About 70% lower |
| 0 | 3 | 0.104× | About 90% lower |
| 0 | 4 | 0.036× | About 96% lower |
| 0 | 5 or more | 0.030× | 97% lower; minimum weight reached |
| 2 | 1 | 1.275× | 27.5% higher; mixed feedback |
| 3 | 2 | 0.521× | About 48% lower; mixed feedback |
These are weights, not guaranteed pick percentages. If this map competes with just one unrated eligible map, a 1.25× weight gives it 1.25 / (1.25 + 1), or about 55.6%, of that particular pick. The actual candidate set, other maps' weights, mode and source rules, and repeat spacing change the real chance. A map outside the current difficulty or other filters has no chance in that slot regardless of votes. In Mania Farm mode, the highest eligible Farm score is considered first and feedback breaks ties; Mania's high-Farm bonus can also multiply a map's weight in other modes. See map selection and Mania Farm.
Reading the result
For a precise calculation, the current formula is:
good factor = min(2.50, 1 + 0.25 × good votes)
bad factor = 1 when bad votes = 0
= 0.85 × 0.35^(bad votes − 1) otherwise
weight = max(0.03, good factor × bad factor)
Only accepted ratings count. Each player has one current rating per map, so changing a rating replaces their earlier vote. Neutral feedback records a judgment without changing this weight. Moderation can exclude abusive feedback from the count; a chat acknowledgment alone cannot show whether a vote affects selection.
When should I rate?
Rate soon after a match finishes, while its feedback window is open. This is separate from skip, replay, and difficulty votes. The usual reminder cadence is once every three completed maps. A current player's accepted good or bad feedback on one of those rounds suppresses the lobby-wide reminder; neutral feedback does not. See the reminder update.
